"Music for the soul... and the mind ... with lightness"
"Pop music for intellectuals...intellectual music for pop audience"
Mirenzi is a composer of “classical music of our time”.
In his music are discovered compositional techniques of the past and the avant-garde and some of the styles of popular music.
His language is very personal, eclectic and engaging
The writing is simple, transparent and immediately understandable.
A particular attention must be given to the temporal dimension, dilated... or contracted, as in certain ends that, breaking the symmetry of the proportions, they leave each other almost unarmed, as if the composer had wanted to insinuate in us the desire of an immediate new listening.
Amongst the Mirenzi''s music there is to draw a visual dimension.
Is a music that evokes images...
Mirenzi''s music has the gift of the allusion, of the lightness…
An 8-page booklet with notes critical to songs, presented by Professor Roberto Giuliani, is attached to the cd "...al ritorno"
