As an aboriginal songwriter I have been writing songs for 26 years and will continue to do so until I die. Music has played a very important role in my life accompanying me through the highs and lows of my teenage years to adulthood. I picked up the guitar aged 10 and still play to this day. I was born into poverty and although we never had much food or anything else music was always there to sooth the soul. To me music is sacred, traditionally and personally and one of the best things about it I never tire of it and I love watching other muso’s do their stuff and I never stop learning. To me there is no end to music and my nexus with music will always be the beginning.
