Details:
The debut, ''At Rest In God'', was a creative mix with just about every electronic genre mashed into its genius. This second album moves firmly away from those early scribblings and we really taste the more refined qualities of Piers Williamson (aka Vivid Prophet). Enlisting singer Liz Hallam, Piers pens an 11-song album with strong lyrics and even stronger beats. Smart drums and chunky bass lines blend perfectly with clever guitar rhythms, not dissimilar to recent Massive Attack tracks. In fact, if you want to compare, this sounds like the kind of album Kosheen would have produced had they not disappeared down the MOR route. Refreshing, unique and well-crafted, this is a must have from the UK dance underground.
