Steven Trulock has been writing songs for years. He graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing in 2000 from the University of Arkansas. His music has been described as southern alternative folk. Another way to describe it is simply solid songwriting with insightful lyrics. These songs are “stories” in the sense that many are from a different point of view than the writer and some, even if in first person, from another point of view. As with any good stories, the writer is in there somewhere behind and between the lines.
