Une Voix Piano Duo
Jeanne M. Hanley and Wendy Wan-Hsing Chu met at Central Michigan University in 2000, where they both studied with Dr. Alexandra Mascolo-David. They began coaching each other and have been friends since. In 2007, they formed the Une Voix Piano Duo. Une Voix, meaning “one voice” in French, represents the merging of two cultures to create one musical voice. Une Voix strives to preserve the tradition of classical music in America through workshops, master classes, instruction, and recitals. Recent appearances include Michigan State University, Central Michigan University, Kellogg Community College, the Stella Royce Music Camp, and Park Congregational Church Concert Series.

Jeanne M. Hanley is a dedicated teacher who is active as both a solo and collaborative pianist. In 2004, Ms. Hanley received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with honors from Central Michigan University. Ms. Hanley received her Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy at the University of Illinois in 2006. Her principle instructors were Dr. Reid Alexander, Dr. Christos Tsitsaros, and Dr. William Heiles. While earning her Master''s degree, Ms. Hanley was named to the Incomplete List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students for four consecutive semesters.

Ms. Hanley has been the artistic director of the Stella Royce Music Camp at St. Cecilia Music Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 2007. She is an active member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, the Grand Rapids Musicians League, and the Music Teachers'' National Association. Ms. Hanley currently serves as the Western Michigan Division Semi-finals Chair for the MMTA. She has also judged for numerous festivals and competitions throughout the mid-west. In 2007, Ms. Hanley opened the Hanley Music Studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Wendy Wan-Hsing Chu has performed both as a soloist and collaborative artist in Taiwan, Canada, and the U.S.A. She has taught privately and at the Stella Royce Music Camp in Grand Rapids, Michigan. An active member of the Music Teachers National Association, Dr. Chu serves as the Semi-Finals Chair for Central Division of Michigan Music Teachers Association. She has also adjudicated for MMTA.

Dr. Chu earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and Master of Music in Piano Performance and Music Education from Central Michigan University. In 2006, she received the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from Michigan State University. Her principal teachers were Mr. Ralph Votapek and Mr. Panayis Lyras. Currently a freelance pianist, she resides in Saginaw, Michigan.
