Details:
I started playing guitar when i was 10 inspiring from Beatles albums and Ben Lee CD''s laying about. My grandmother took me to https://www.tradebit.comny Warehouse and bought me my first acoustic guitar... a black dreadnought for $37.00.... yesssss! Growing up as a kid listening to mostly punk (GreenDay, MXPX, Rancid, etc...) my first initial intentions were... I WANNA PLAY PUNK ROCK..... on an acoustic....... So I taught myself how to play a power chord and the rest was history. After memorizing every Greenday song Billie Joe Armstrong could devise I decided... I wanna write my own songs!!! So i dabbled here and there failing miserably at every encounter. Down the road of boyhood I started dating a beautiful young girl who seized my heart from the moment I laid eyes down. It was there when i found my calling... I was gonna write love songs for my newly acquired reason for being! As time passed so did we... the relationship drew weary and dull, and I started writing more melodramatic songs involving heartbreak and sorrow. As the years have gone by... I''ve gone in and out of love and heartbreak, and have added many songs to the growing collection. Every song written by my pen has significant meaning, purpose, reason to be... Its been years now, still writing, still singing, still unsigned, but not without hope! I have more than enough faith in my music. The only thing i hope to achieve in life is that my music touches someone/some people in a way that they listen and draw a relation. They may listen to a song of mine and say, "This song pisses me off because it reminds me of when my ex left me for my bestfriend!", or "This song is the perfect depiction of how amazing my girlfriend is!" Who knows, who cares... if you love it, hate it, think its mediocre, whatever... as long as its touched you in some way shape of form, I''ve done my job well. I dont think my music is going to take me somewhere, I KNOW it will... its just a matter of time!

Hear what nice things people had to say!

~ "From The Let Go is upbeat and energetic acoustic rock (think Sister Hazel or Train). Bob Pepek shows real promise as a songwriter, displaying a strong sense of melody (and great harmonies!)..."

~"Bob Pepek is a name you should be hearing more of over the next few years. I would not be surprised if he builds a fairly steady following over time and if we''re still hearing new music from him 20 years from now. For the time being, From The Let Go is a strong entry into the pop music discography. It''s definitely worth a listen, so check it out!..."

"Connecticut isn''t known for its riveting music scene, but Bob Pepek emerges as a pop-rock artist. Pepek writes catchy melodies over simple, pop-acoustic instrumentation and rhythms.

His e.p., From The Let Go, begins with a singable song, A Little More. Performed in the vein of The Bare Naked Ladies, Pepek strums and leads a somewhat quirky and fun tune - perfect for a long summer day.

This Promise to You opens with an acoustic conversation anyone will admit to having at least once in their life. Its these stories and conversations of everyday life that Pepek captures and puts to song.

But perhaps Pepek''s best effort is when he strips things down to his guitar and a smattering of strings for the album closer, Just One More Word. Its darker and more subtle, and suits his voice and talent most accurately."
