MP3 TNA - Branded

Heavy, hard and melodic. Guitar driven old school/modern melodic hard rock hybrid at it''s best. Memorable songs with powerful vocals and guitar solos performed with conviction. They don''t make em'' like this anymore.

Details:
New York based TNA (The Noise Addiction) shot out of the gates in early 1987. Founders Danny Tore and Sean Tarr along with Mike McManamon, Phil Pacheco and Marty Fisher began gigging and recording with a vengeance in the New York City area. Within a years time TNA had built up a large following and recorded numerous demos. For the next three years, TNA played out relentlessly opening for over 40 national acts including Skid Row, Winger, Warrant, Kings X, LA Guns, Badlands and Kix to name a few. Additional recordings were produced and showcases for major labels followed. Two number one singles on WSOU, (the only real hard rock/metal radio station in the New York City area at the time) write ups in RIP and Metal Edge magazine among others and planned recording sessions with Aerosmith producer Jack Douglas had even the most cynical of rock n'' roll aficionados expecting big things for TNA. The only sour note of the period was the departure of Marty Fisher in 1989 forcing the band to develop a four piece sonic delivery.
It''s funny how things don''t always turn out the way they should. As much as everybody believed TNA was destined for fame and fortune, fate had other plans. A major label recording contract eluded TNA and the resulting frustration ultimately contributed to the implosion of the band in early 1991. TNA disintegrated and the individual members went their separate ways.
For 9 long years TNA remained a memory until early 2000 when Sean and Danny decided to digitize the old analog recordings before they too disintegrated. While listening to the playbacks they re-discovered the sound that made them rock n'' roll heavy weights on the New York scene back in the 80''s and early 90''s. It was time to re-assemble the TNA machine. As fate would have it, Kivel Records stepped up to the plate with a recording contract. This time TNA signed on the dotted line.
The 21st century TNA featured original vocalist Mike McManamon, guitarist Sean Tarr and drummer Danny Tore though Phil Pacheco would not return. The bass duties were now in the capable hands of Doug Odell fresh off a studio session with fellow Kivel Records label mates Adrian Gale. 2001 saw the release of "Finger on the Trigger". A fine debut effort that encapsulated the best of the 80''s and early 90''s recordings as well as three brand new songs recorded with producer Lez Warner, former drummer of The Cult. With "Trigger" picking up steam over the summer the band planned shows for the fall of 2001. Unfortunately, the horrific events of 9/11 forced TNA to cancel their fall tour plans as NYC dealt with the fallout of the largest terrorist attack on US soil in history.
Now, as we enter 2004, TNA are releasing their 2nd full-length album entitled "Branded". Produced by TNA, "Branded" takes the band to the next level and promises to be an instant classic for fans of guitar driven, in your face, melodic hard rock/metal. The band is in full effect and looking forward to hitting the stage in support of their new release. The best is yet to come.
