Alison Coster was born and raised in San Francisco. She started singing at the age of 3. Coming from a family of musicians, her father drummer Al Coster and her Uncle Tom Coster who was in the band Santana was touched by the musical bug. She moved out to Los Angles and studied music theory. She has placed songs in several https://www.tradebit.com being Rome and Jewel ( a modern day Romeo and Juliet) with Nate Parker. Her song "Do" was picked for the scene where the 2 characters fall in love. Juggling acting and music, she still made time to sing on many albums such as Eric Idol’s Spam a lot first album just prior to the NY play production. She has been fortunate enough to have written songs with Dany Tomas who is a huge star in Argentina and written songs for Laura Fabian and many others. Alison and Dany Tomas have placed 2 songs in two movies the above “Rome and Jewel” and were hired to write the theme song for the horror film “The Passing”.
