Details:
Thanks for giving a listen...The songs on this cd may appeal to many...it is tongue-in-cheek, folksy, bluegrass. If you have ever worked for a large corporation, then you will enjoy the "Branch Executive", a songstory about the corporate world and the painful irony of it all. Maybe you''ve been to Florida during "the season"?...give a listen to the "Snowbird Blues", "about a most unusual bird, travels south around november third". If you have ever been involved in a relationship that broke up for no good reason, there''s a story for you in the song "I''m so Unhappy!" and "In My Truck". On the serious side, if you want to rekindle an old love, dedicate to her the song "The Time of our Lives". And if you wonder what "Economic War" could be, listen to it, it tells the story about some world events circa 1990 or so. If you are a high school student, listen to the "Inner City High", it tells a story about how to survive that traumatic life and move on to better things. Maybe you are in a musical band, want a challenge? Listen to the "Carolina Ping" and try to hear the single G note that is done at the same time for a fun thing to try. The song "Runamuck" is running amuck on the banjo. If you have had a divorce, listen to the song "In My Truck", a story that evolved from a divorce close to home and friends with trucks that run in the deep mud in Florida, an unusual combination. And finally, put on the earphones and listen to "Rainmaker", a song that starts as a small drizzle, turns into a storm and ends with a whisper. Musicians are Sue Cunningham on fiddle, Tim Lynch on banjo, guitar, vocals and Scott Davis on bass.
