Thrust has been together since 1995 after releasing their first full length CD " White Root Salve." The four-piece group based out of Kansas City built a phenomenally large fan base prior to releasing the follow up release "Songs in the Key of F.u." in 1999. Radio play in the central U.S. began soon after. With an ever-growing fan base and increasing radio play Thrust released "Parade of Idiots" early 2002. The CD release party was held in K.C. at the historic Uptown Theatre with an estimated attendance of 1300 (1180 actual tickets sold.)
Since the release Thrust has gone on to break down bearers at corporate radio that until now seemed un-breakable by an independent artist. They continue to get added in regular rotation at commercial stations across the U.S. and plan to perform at as many festivals and music conferences as possible in 2003.
