Details:
Sue was born into a musical family in the great state of Mississippi. Her roots are in traditional country and southern gospel music. Her dad was a fiddle player who specialized in hoe-downs and waltzes, but southern gospel tunes like Amazing Grace and I Saw The Light were always a must before the end of his shows. His deep love for music inspired Sue at an early age. Somehow she knew she was destined to be a singer, musician and entertainer.
Her dad wasn''t only a fiddle player but a carpenter as well. He built two churches in Mississippi; one in Hattiesburg and the other in Purvis. This was where her music career began. At the young age of six, she sang her first song at the River Avenue Church of God in Hattiesburg. Soon Sue and her brother John, who played rhythm guitar, began performing on radio, television, stage shows and churches throughout the south.
As an adult her continuous dedication and love for music has carried her to a multitude of stages not only in the U.S.A., but many countries throughout the world. She is well known in Tokyo, Japan and has many friends and fans there. Sue is a real people person and her greatest desire and intent is to lift your spirits with a song and a smile.
At age 16 her parents moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. This is where she met and married her husband and raised her children. She still lives and performs in the bay area.
God has blessed Sue with the lyrics and music to a new album of 14 original old time southern gospel songs. She has worked very hard to present them in a manner that is pleasing to God and all who hear them.
In her words she says, "I hope this CD will be an inspiration to your life and fill your heart with a new found love for Jesus. He still reigns as King not only today but also forever."
May God bless all who hear these songs
