Born and raised in the great state of Georgia, Mack Womack was exposed to many musical styles ranging from Country, R&B, Southern Rock and Classic Rock. He started playing drums at age 6 and is self-taught. He also began teaching himself bass guitar and piano for the past ten years.
Fusing his musical talents with a woman he has never met in person, Mack began making beautiful music with Kathy Cisneros, his Internet musical soul mate. They met in a chat room and their musical connection flourished from there. Producing their first musical collaboration has been a labor of love between two people who felt the musical chemistry that translated into an eclectic ensemble of heartfelt melodies that naturally took on a life of their own.
This album is dedicated to the relentless support of Mack’s daughters, Elizabeth and Heather, Mack’s mother and father and Wes and Mike of Mack’s band, The Smokin’ Okies who graciously encouraged this endeavor. In addition, Mack & Kathy would like to thank Katrina Overshine for her beautiful photography and Kathy’s husband, Robert Greenberg for his dedication and support of this dynamic collaboration and mutual musical chemistry.
