Sacramento''s RACE!!! released their second CD "We''re Now in the Evens" in December, 2008. It is similar in style and form to their debut release "Travels" (Prescott, 2005) in that it is one long, improvised session that was edited and dissected into 8 different tracks.
The album, which was recorded live on the KDVS 90.3FM radio station in Davis, CA is very free and spacious, while still maintaining the pulse/heartbeat of a meter underneath the group improvised sections.
