Together since 2005, Dance Yourself to Death quickly forged a name for themselves among Toronto''s indie-rock community. Before they''d even recorded a demo, DYtD were hand picked to appear in the Elton John produced film "It''s A Boy Girl Thing" where they given a cameo, and also were included on the soundtrack next to Elton.
DYtD went on to license songs in two more films (''Shelter'', and ''P2''). Since then they continue to spread their Pretenders/XTC/Phil Spector influenced sound, gaining a diverse and dedicated following along the way.
''Ready for Love'' is Dance Yourself to Death''s debut album, due for release January 27th, 2009.
