John "Big J" Cummings hails from Memphis, Tennessee and began singing at an early age in the Baptist Church.
He attended Langston University in Oklahoma in the mid 70''s with aspirations of
becoming a music teacher.
Those plans changed after meeting some member of the Gap Band who
attended the same school. With a changed of heart, John entered the world of
R&B music and has since played with and written hits for artists such as
Tyrone Davis, Carl Sims, Sheba Potts Wright, Lee Shot Williams, Toni Green,
O.B. Buchanan and many others. John has also released three (3) CDs on
himself and now has release the 4''th CD on Q.T. Records entitled
"Good to the last drop". Here it is. Hope you enjoy it
