Curtis Havens, The Unheard Poet, began writing at age 11, and did his first spoken word performance at age 15. He has since performed in coffee shops, art schools, colleges, music venues and at large conventions. By age 16, he had already become a relatively well respected member of the poetry community. He was asked to perform on radio stations, podcasts, and wrote reviews of the works of other artists. His works are full of powerful emotions, vivid imagery and humorous situations.
