Details:
Robert Fishbone is a musician, music teacher, story teller, drum circle facilitator and keynote performer. Since a very young age, he has been curious about everything and especially fascinated by the unusual. His musical explorations blend together his love of sound and his love of the stage. His original stories, based on his travel experiences, often end with ‘unexpected gifts’. He has created and performs one man shows that combine the real and surreal and appeal to all ages. Lately he has been using live digital looping on stage to conjure samba bands, Tibetan Festivals and natural environments. His performances are described as “enthralling from beginning to end with surprises at every turn”. He specializes in playing obscure instruments from all over the world. If he can’t find what he needs, he makes it, and the listener becomes as excited as he is by the result. His new CD of original music and stories, 1,000 Steps, takes you on the same kind of journey as his live concerts where everything seems possible.
