Details:
Revisiting Sacred Space is Castalia’s first pagan album and reflects her early years of discovering the mysticism of Canada’s past, in discovering the present day pagan community, and in learning about the times gods. This album features acoustic and electric guitars, Celtic harp, mandolin and Castalia’s easily recognizable voice, personal, intimate, and at times, haunting.
Castalia is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer who tours America and Canada playing for pagans at festivals, shops, Unitarian events and even large living rooms. She began her formal music career in 1979, and discovered paganism at about the same time. The two passions eventually brought her to the recording studio to record a regular folk album and then Sacred Space. After an eight year hiatus, she re-released Sacred Space with more songs and a new title, and stepped up her concert schedule. Two years later, Hidden was born. Two years after that…In Plain Sight, and in 2008, Living Echoes all instrumental….gorgeous.
