Lynda Cullen is from Gorey, Co. Wexford, in the south east of Ireland. After completing a degree in philosophy at the Milltown Institute in Dublin, she moved to South Korea to teach English. Two years later she became a member of the Korean ''ethnic fusion'' band ''Second Moon.'' In March 2005, they released their debut album, picking up 3 awards at the 2006 Korean Real Music Awards. After 5 years of living in Korea, and having a damn good time, Lynda is now back in Ireland and is in her 3rd year of studying Music, Management and Sound at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa in the wonderful city of Cork. Lynda''s song ''Communication'' is featured on the compilation album Open/Play/Listen which was launched in March of this year on CSN''s own label, Stepping Stone Records. Her debut solo EP entitled ''The Orange Tree,'' was independently released in August 2008. Lynda Cullen, couples insightful lyrics with a unique, fresh folk sound, and displays a rare ability to appeal to her audience on a universal level. Her unique and sultry vocals, have firmly established Cullen as a new and emerging talent on the Irish song writing circuit.
