A unique, minimalist blend of garage, roots, rock and roll and blues, performed mainly by one nineteen year old kid with a tambourine taped to his left foot and an acoustic guitar that''s run through overdriven tube amplification. He’s helped out along the course of the album by tons of percussion, tic-y tac sixties esq electric bass, harmonica (Rusty Reed), the occasional upright bass (Don Marcotte), some kit drumming (Robbie Szabo) and gronky flourishes from an old 1950’s Hammond M-3 household organ (Rene G.W. Lemieux). A new take on traditional music, using retro soundscapes applied to the eternally interesting roots of North American music.
