Herschel Sizemore is one of the more accomplished and recognized "second generation" (or maybe first and a half generation) bluegrass mandolin players. He has a style all his own, easily recognizable, which was the basis for the title of this album. Herschel has played with some of the top bands , and fronted his own band on more than one occasion, in the last 45 years. He is the author of several mandolin instrumental tunes. His tune "Rebecca" is one of the more copied tunes in bluegrass music.
