MP3 The Santiago Steps - Points and Corners
Indie Rock meant to take off the top of your heads, gently and sometimes not, or something like that.
13 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: California Pop
Details:
The Santiago Steps, laboring in obscurity, have made their "Tusk," their "I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One," their "Being There," their "Night at the Opera." Sounding a bit like Fleetwood Mac, a bit like Yo La Tengo, a bit like Wilco (and not nearly enough like Queen), the Steps have released these thirteen songs ranging from the raging (''The World''s a Go'') to the quietly sad (''In the Golden Age'') to the danceably sweet (''Come On''). They hope, more than anything, that the music sounds like the Santiago Steps.
"Points and Corners" features guest turns from Aimee Bender, John Hoskinson, Rob Blaney, and others.
"What better band to make us feel hopeful about humanity than the Santiago Steps?" - OC Weekly.
