Details:
I sang from the age of three when my dad would teach me songs including "Down Where the Sunflowers Grow," and "Good Ship Lollipop." I sang in many locations as a child and young student. Upon graduation from high school, I entered Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where I met Phil White. Phil and I were married, and traveled with Word of Life for several years. In 1970, Phil and I were selected to become members of The Discovery Singers on "Day of Discovery," the television program produced by The Radio Bible Class, and filmed at Cypress Gardens, FL. I would go on to sing as a soloist and a member of the Discovery Singers from 1971 until 1985.
During this time we were living in Elgin, Illinois. I continued to be involved in one way or another with Moody Bible Institute and WMBI. I was often the female soloist on Friday evening Telephone Requests, joining Burt Kettinger or Glenn Jorian as the male soloist for the broadcast.
I began singing with the Kings Karollers on the international radio broadcast of The Moody Church in Chicago, "Songs in the Night," in 1972 and was a part of that program until I retired 25 years later in 1997.
Throughout the commitments above, I sang in concerts and at conferences, and appeared on numerous television programs in Chicago and within the US. In addition to producing five solo albums, I also participated in innumerable recording and performing projects for varying music production companies.
