RainSong is Terry and Darlene Wildman. As RainSong Terry and Darlene travel North America and beyond bringing their music and storytelling to Powwows, Native American gatherings, churches and conferences.
They have produced three CD’s “Sacred Warrior” in 2003 “Rising Sun” in 2004 and “Rise Up and Dance” in 2007. Their music style is a folk/rock style blended with Native American instruments and melodies.
The Sound of America Records in Albuquerque, owned by Tom Bee, the largest Native American recording company, has released their second CD as “Rising Son” on their Red Sea Label.
In 2004 RainSong was nominated for a Grammy award and two “Nammys” (Native American Music Award). In 2005 they won the “American Christian Music Award” for the category of “Favorite Band/Duo – Breakout”.
In 2008 they were Nominated for two more awards at the Native American Music Awards (Nammy) for “Best Song of the Year” “All Colors Together”, also for the “Best Gospel/Inspirational Recording”. They were presenters at the Awards Ceremony in October 08 at the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY.
