All the people on this CD are, and have been close to me for the past twenty years. They have been a source of inspiration and also have been the greatest friends somebody could have. I just wanted to pay tribute to them and thank them from the bottom of my heart - Gilles Apap
Bayou Seco, the Growling Old Geezers, Gaptooth Mountain Ramblers, the Children of the Barn, Cliffford Landis, Eric Holle, well known bluegrass players, Phil Salazar, Roger Phillips, Scott Micale, David Jackson, & Peter Feldmann, all join Gilles, one of the world finest violinists, as he gets down to some serious fiddling... Gilles breaks away from the classical, as he often does, straight into some traditional old time music... Cajun, Cowboy, Bluegrass, Gospel, tunes from Arizona, New Mexico, India, French Canada, and plenty of Traditional Old-Time Music. Oh yeah... How about some John Sabastian Bach on the banjo. Gilles Apap and Friends… Have a listen.
