Ian MacGillivray is a Toronto-based Jazz trumpeter and singer/songwriter. At 29 years of age he has amassed a wide range experience, having been performing professionally for the past 10 years. He has performed in Toronto, Calgary and St. John''s in various groups including big bands, reggae, funk, smooth jazz and most frequently in small Jazz combos. In late 2007, Ian released his self-titled debut album of original material and plans to keep making lots more music.
