Over the past 5 years Split Finger has grown from a 3 piece band to the current 7 piece Rock/Reggae powerhouse that now fills San Diego and Hollywood''s hippest clubs with their infectious original music and jumping fans.
Split Finger has packed such venues as the 2007 and 2008 FM94.9 / OMBAC Summer Music Fest, Viper Room, Key Club, House Of Blues in San Diego, Hollywood, and Las Vegas, Belly Up Tavern-Solana Beach, Canes-Mission Beach, Shaker Lounge @ Martini Ranch-San Diego, San Diego CityFest 2007, and numerous other bar/club venues all over San Diego County. We have opened for De La Soul, KRS-ONE, OZOMATLI, Common Sense, Long Beach Shortbus, Cowboy Mouth, and The Lashes.
This San Diego band is always willing to help those in need and among other local charities donated their time at the 3rd and 5th annual ''Drink For A Cause'' Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation benefit. We recently headlined a fund raiser for the San Diego Firefighters Union to raise funds to assist with those injured in the 2007 San Diego wildfires.
