A rough-hewn salsa dura record from Chicago. It looks to classic 70s Fania era salsa for its cues (though it swings over an electric bass). A good party record with a nostalgic feel to it, with good singers cutting through the coro and montunos that have a stretched out modal feel to them. Nice unpretentious production that sounds as if the band''s fun to experience live.
