Two For Life team Jay and Jodi Marcum are a husband and wife musical duo from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Not only do they share a love of music, they also share the same goal – to give people a new passion for living, and to infuse their listeners with a fresh joy in living for Jesus!

With combined professional experience of over 54 years, Two For Life presents an array of musical styles through saxophone, piano and vocal music. From gospel to classical to jazz, from kids’ songs to inspiring hymns – their professional quality presentation, humor and testimony will indeed uplift listener’s hearts!

Two For Life has provided concert and worship music across the United States, Canada, and Eastern Europe. Their music has wide appeal for all ages and all places.

Jay and Jodi are also World Vision Artist Associates. They encourage their audiences to become involved with world missions and child sponsorship through the World Vision Christian relief organization.

JAY’s BIO:
HOMETOWN: Grinnell, Iowa
MUSIC EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:
U.S. Navy Musician, Great Lakes, IL 
Jay toured with various jazz and rock bands throughout the Midwest region.
U.S. Navy Musician, Navy Band, Washington, DC 
Serving as baritone saxophonist in "The World''s Finest," Jay had the opportunity to tour the U.S., perform ceremonies for the President and other dignitaries, and appear with such artists as Johnny Mathis, Shirley Jones, Crystal Gayle, Shari Lewis, Maureen McGovern, and the Temptations.
Jay retired from the service in 1995, moved to Sioux Falls, SD, and began work as a church music and family ministries director. During that time, he also learned the piano tuning and repair trade, which he continues to do in his spare time.

JODI’S BIO:
HOMETOWN: Actually a northeast Nebraska farm, between Beemer and West Point!
EDUCATION:
Piano (formal lessons began at age 5)
Voice (Music Theater major at the University of Northern Iowa)
EXPERIENCE:
The daughter of Christians and music lovers, Jodi has been performing for family, friends, churches, and other venues since she was just a preschooler.

Since her marriage to Jay in 1980, Jodi has worked as a full-time mom and homeschool teacher, and occasionally part-time as an office worker. She spends lots of volunteer time at their church as music and theater director.

THEIR FAMILY:
Daughter, Samantha, born in 1982, graduated as an LPN in 2003. On April 30, 2005, she married a wonderful Christian man, Jarrod Sehr. They currently reside in Portland, Oregon where Jarrod is pursuing his Master of Divinity at Multnomah Seminary.
Son, Seth, born in 1984, is an electric bass player that travels with a Christian band, Roads to Rome. Seth lives in Franklin, Tennessee when he''s not on the road.
All four Marcums had a family music ministry ("The Marcums") from June, 2000 through November, 2003. During this time they performed over 100 concerts and made two recordings.
