Details:
Jeff Todd is a jazz guitarist from Roanoke, Virginia. He started playing at age 8, and began seriously studying jazz in high school, with Grammy award winning guitarist, Harry Leahey(Phil Woods Quintet). He was the guitarist for the Lafayette College Jazz Band 1980-1984, but put the guitar down for awhile to attend medical school, and train in Internal Medicine, and Cardiology. He moved to Roanoke, Va in 1994, and started seriously playing again a few years later. He has studied with Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino, Royce Campbell, and Steve Herberman, and performs throughout Southwest Virginia. He enjoys playing with a full rhythm section, as well as with a vocalist in a duo setting, and also as a solo guitarist.
