Details:
René Alonzo was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He played organ for television evangelist Jimmy Swaggart while a student at Louisiana State University. René never graduated because he left to play piano with "John Fred and the Playboys of "Judy in Disguise" fame. He toured with the south and east coast extensively before moving to hawaii in 1979
He has since toured with such blues legends as Charlie Mussele White and Eleven Bishop. While on Maui, he has performed with rock and country starts like Steven Stills, Willie Nelson, Gregg Allmand and Sammy Hagar.
