I was born and raised up in the little town of Fanshawe in southeastern Oklahoma. My teenage years was in the fifties. I remember very well when Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Roy orbison first got started. I came from a musical family. Three older brothers that played the guitar and sang. an older sister that was a great vocalist, sang at all the school functions. My mother played the pump organ. Every tue nite they would get in the backroom and play and sing my job was to get down on the floor and pump the organ. In later years I played lead guitar and base in about every club in the Fort Smith Ar area. i spent over forty years on manufacturing, starting as a janitor and retiring as a plant manager in 2003. Have a wonderful wife, three children, six grandchildren and three great ones. Always thought I could write a song. "Is Someone Listening" is very personal and I hope it gets some attention. I am a fairly conservative person. God,country and work for your keep.
