Improvising on original compositions and creating unexpected twists in legendary songs and boleros, Sonido Batido attracts an enthusiastic following.
It all started in 2004 by the meeting of musicians from opposite corners of the world in a bar called Churchill''s. Since then they have performed steady gigs all around the Miami club circuit in venues such as Toscana, Mosaico, The Food Gang, Literary Cafe, and Archie''s.
They were invited to play at Miami''s first Fete de la Musique and first Sleepless Night celebration, both inspired by festivals in France.
