Michael Curtis is a music faculty member in guitar at Malone University and also at the College of Wooster. He graduated from the University of Akron, received his Master of Music degree from the University of Arizona in l988 and earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music''s program at Case Western Reserve University in l993. He has studied flamenco guitar in Spain and also spent four years living in South America, where a Graduate Rotary and a Fulbright Scholarship took him to study music in Uruguay and Ecuador.
Joanne Fox bought her first dulcimer in l986. She brings to her playing a background of piano and pipe organ study. Currently she assists with music in a number of capacities at Faith United Methodist Church in N. Canton, Ohio, and also sings with the Canton Symphony Chorus.
A review in the Dulcimer Players News stated, "Either musician alone would be worth hearing; together they make magic." They have played at area colleges, churches, weddings and group gatherings for several years.
