Marty''s powerful songwriting and unique vocal style grabbed the attention of Producer Dick McVey (https://www.tradebit.com) in Nashville, TN. McVey has worked with such notable artists as Holly Dunn, Tracy Lawrence, Vince Gill and country legend George Jones. In November, 2003, Marty and Dick had their first meeting. At this time in his career, Marty was feeling frustrated and was contemplating quitting the music business altogether. Dick McVey, convinced of Marty''s viability as a singer, songwriter and entertainer, encouraged Marty to keep going and not give up.
Renewed and inspired, Marty began writing new songs and started a new CD recording project in Dick''s Nashville based studio. The result is a collection of ten of the best songs Marty has ever written. The self-titled CD is due for national release on Sound Knowledge Records in July 2004. James West Foster, President of Sound Knowledge Records, says, "Choosing the right song to release as a single was extremely difficult. I love every song on this CD!"
