In 1989, Maggie received "on-air" experience on FM radio by hosting a daily four-hour country music program. Further performance experience was enhanced by a five week stay on Carnival Cruise Line''s Jubilee, where she sang six nights a week from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarte, Mexico and back.
Since 1990, Maggie has been living in San Diego where she has been entertaining as a solo at VFW halls, Elks lodges and private parties. Maggie''s music appeals to a wide range of individuals as she performs a variety of styles, including old rock and roll, Motown, Top 40 country and country rock. She has incorporated teaching a few line dances and has been a big hit even in "non- country" groups. Maggie has a powerful voice that seems to come from her toes. She has a great time on stage, exerting so much energy that the party never seems to stop!
In 1993, Maggie began a relationship with Raven Flight Music to produce a six-song mini-album, released August, 1994. The album contains five up-beat country rock tunes and one country waltz, all written by Rick Perez. The album, called Things Are Looking Up, has received much acclaim since it''s release. Though the tunes are aimed for a country format they would do well in Adult Contemporary or light rock formats as well.
