Mary Beth Maziarz began singing in the rich jazz and folk communities of Chicago while in college. Upon moving to Park City, Utah in 1993, she found her home as the headline performer at the renowned Riverhorse Cafe. Park City proved to be the perfect hub for a flourishing career, providing not only a central location for touring but also a terrific entertainment center in itself. Dawson''s Creek

Two of these tracks, Hold On and Better Than Anyone, drew incredible fan response and appear on her album "Goodnight, Goodnight" and in more acoustic versions on her album "A More Perfect World."
Mary Beth''s remake of the Monkees'' (and John Stewart''s) Daydream Believer was also included as the last track (and only song by an independent artist) on the "Songs from Dawson''s Creek -- Volume 2" Soundtrack, released worldwide by Sony Music in October 2000. Before the show took its final bow last spring, producers of invited Mary Beth down to the set in Wilmington, North Carolina to be featured "on camera" on the show. She played herself, performed her original song, "Waiting for a Sign" in episode #416. Although it''s no longer shown in prime time, Dawson''s Creek can be seen daily in syndication on TBS.
