Tonlos in existence since 1999, began as the
electronic solo-project of Sven https://www.tradebit.comsandra,
Till Fahrendorf and Sebastian Lucht, later joined the project, thus imparting their experiences from other bands.
In 2003, Till and Sebastian left the band, in order to realize their own respective projects.
The musical roots of Tonlos are to be found in
80s Pop and Wave and extended/influenced by modern electronic-music.
Danceable Dark-Wave and Ebm paired with bizarre lyrics,
were to emerge out of this.
The influences of artists such as, John Foxx and Fad Gadget are not be overheard.
