''Who am I?'' was Jean Laughlin''s second project with co-producers, arranger Jim Martin and sound engineer Freddie Breitberg. As in all of their joint projects, Jim''s hip Big Band charts and hauntingly beautiful string orchestrations superbly enhance Jean''s original songs.
Sumptuous solos by well known Chicago jazz musicians, Frank Caruso (piano,) Jim Gailloreto (tenor sax,) and Art Davis (trumpet,) enhance the album further.
