Noam Lemish

Israeli-American pianist Noam Lemish (b.1982) began his classical and jazz studies in Israel. Following his high school studies, he settled in Sonoma County, California where he has quickly become one of the leading jazz pianists in the Bay Area.

A recent graduate of Sonoma State University, Lemish has appeared in countless performances across the San Francisco Bay Area, Denmark, Belgium, Israel and beyond. Lemish has performed with such musicians as: George Marsh, Billy Hart, John Handy, James Newton, Julian Lage, Dayna Stephens, Mel Graves, Mel Martin and many others.

In addition to his original projects and work as a sideman, Lemish has also toured with The San Francisco Mime Troupe (2003) and has composed music for theater and dance productions, most notably: UBU RULES! (2005) and Verlaine: Muse and Music Maker (2005).

Much like other Israeli musicians who are thriving in the US, Lemish’s musical dialogue between his childhood home and his worldly influences offers his audience an entryway into a new musical perspective and a distinctly authentic voice that never ceases to grow and develop.
