The Goat Family is a seven-man jug band from San Francisco that plays original songs on a variety of traditional and homemade instruments. Their acoustic sound reveals influences ranging from Leadbelly to Nirvana and, with a percussion kit fabricated from luggage, lampshades, and saw blades, they generate an infectious, chugging dance beat. All We Need picks up the old-timey exuberance of their first cd Unstopperable, but adds even more eclectic instruments such as the Strohviol and the Rhythmwalker.
