The Greff Band are sons of a preacher, born and raised in Saskatchewan. Their move to Vancouver two years ago, characterized their songwriting as a discovery of rural sensibilities colliding with urban consequences. Their music is a heated blend of rock, blues and country n'' western tempered by folk. Songs fall in sub genres sounding between blunt emotional honesty and dead-on rebelliousness. A reserved, cool exterior may disguise a kind heart; then again, it may not.
