My music is particularly influenced by Electronic, Ethnic music from the Caribbean, European Electro, Ambient, Jazz, some Pop, and some Classical as well. “Somewhere between the beach & the Sea” is my first full-album and therefore there are pieces that come from different periods, but ultimately all were produced at the same time. The whole album is mainly inspired on the beaches of Margarita Island in my native Venezuela. I tried to convey a somewhat meditative experience, especially in tracks such as Waves of Time , Horizon and the album’s title Somewhere… reflecting on the vastness of the Ocean and that changing strip where the solid earth meets the Sea.
This last year (2007-2008) I''ve been fortunate to play live some of this music with the incredible Fellow musicians of the New World Symphony, at their parties in Miami and New York with very positive feedback. I also played a live and more rough version of this album in Paris in 2006 , accompanied by flute and video. I hope I`ll be playing live in the very near future!
