Chris Shaffer is an independent singer/songwriter from Inchelium, Washington who loves country, new and old, classic rock and blues. Chris attempts to blend these genres into her own style of music that varies from tearing your heart out to making you laugh. Her lyrics are honest, clever and uniquely connected to her Rural, Ranch and Reservation background.
Hometown Blues was Chris'' first full-length, original CD, produced in 2006. Her second album, Ready to Roll, will be released in late 2008. Chris records under her own label...Kiyote Moon Productions, Inchelium, WA.
Chris has been lead vocalist for bands "Kiyote Moon" and "Stoney Acres" of Inchelium and Spokane, WA and currently sings and records with "Schmoe" of Elk, WA. Chris'' track "Blue River Blues" was featured on "The Native Hunter", a television series on The Men''s Channel.
