What people are saying about my music:
Anyone interested in prog guitarists like Mike Oldfield or Steve Hackett is advised to check out Nova Scotia-based Kevin Atwood. His modest budget means Atwood does it all himself, but the sound of Blessed Be is quite good and will amaze fans of mid "''70s" progressive rock. Written, preformed, mixed and produced by the artist, the CD makes fine use of Atwood''s electric guitars, synths and percussion and the sound is filled with the opulent, symphonic strains of melodic art-rock instrumentals. Atwood defies the odds and comes up with a fine album with Blessed Be.

I really enjoy the album and anything I can do in NYC to help spread
the word, just let me know..
-
I just finished listening to your first song on https://www.tradebit.com titled "Blessed Be". One word... EXCELLENT.
-
Hi, surfing around at https://www.tradebit.com, I listened to your tune "Blessed Be", and think it is great, keep it coming
-
Very impressive.
-
I don''t usually like instrumentals but I liked this quite a bit. The guitar playing is really impressive without being overbearing. I liked the trade between the electric and the acoustic guitars.
-
...soothing melody. Excellent work by the lead guitar, and some nice production effects thrown in as well...
-
opening sounds are interesting - cool intro. is that a dulcimer? - sounds great! lead gtr. is very strong. the mix is good - professionally produced. drums are adding a good groove behind the gtr. and keys - good job, keyboard player - I assume you''re doing all of the other sounds - well chosen.
-
Wow, I''m instantly hooked.
-
This has a very unique sound to it. You can say a lot without words. The guitar riffs playing throughout the song are incredible. One after another - they just keep coming.
-
This is one of the better instrumentals that I have heard in a while. Some really nice acoustic guitar work. They keyboards are good and the vocal loop that you used was really soothing. For some reason, this song reminds me of the beach at night.
-
Very Mike Oldfield sound to both lead guitar parts here, acoustic and electric. Nice rounded tone to both and fine melodic playing...
-
Good melody, mood, and guitar work.
-
If they made a movie...
about a good time in my life. Sounds PRO-fessional. Nice build-up at the beginning, cool keyboard part. Very much a movie anthem type song. You know, like when everything falls in place at the end. Nice recording. Excellent lead.
-
Very good work of production, very exciting....
-
Simply good.
This is a great relaxing track. All the elements blend to create a great melody that doesn''t get boring or repetitive. The guitar was sweet and somber and the drums added great punctuation. I enjoyed it.
-
chillin like a villin
This is a very chill song and I really enjoyed it everything worked together guitars keyboards bass and drums they key boards accented everything so elegantly along with the perfectly placed guitar solos both electric and acoustic, I love the song that has soft girl voices and wind chimes...
-
Clean emotion type type feel.. Proper for all tastes. professional arrangement pictured it at the end of some movie during the credit run. Very nice ...
-
This is well done, both compositionally and production wise.
-
Fantastic Solo Sections!
I thought the electric guitar solos were amazing! This song should be on a film score.
-
Ahh... Instrumental!
I''ve got to admit, it is refreshing to hear someone "play" their respective instruments. Overall, nice melody.
-
Nice instrumental
I would listen to this when I get stressed out and I am listening to it at a great time! I was just stressed out and all of a sudden I feel better! Thanks!
-
I could fall asleep to this one
that is not a bad thing, I mean this totally as a compliment, the tempo/mood is so peaceful and relaxing ... this is very enchanting could be a theme song for a cbs or abc drama show again, that is meant as a compliment; I wish there were some lyrics to get a feel for what the composer was getting at, however, it also lets me formulate my own words and lets me evoke my own feelings great great number

This is a TV theme song all the way
Classic pop rock instrumental! Great production - this song has great potential. No way someone wont use this in TV land. Cool guitar work.

Interesting arrangement on the synthesized/computer generated stuff and all the live instruments played very well. The tune is very melodic and well crafted....
