Jennifer Potter grew up in Niagar Falls and Toronto Ontario where she was involved in the business of music since the age of eight. She grew up singing in both the Canadian Children''s Opera Chorus and the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir and studied voice, piano and theory at the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Jennifer travelled to the United States where she received a Bachelor''s Degree in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah University and then her Master''s Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati.
After many years of performing in shows and concert halls, Jennifer turned her back on the bright lights and moved to a farm in the Beaver Valley where she began to concentrate on composing, arranging at her studio JennSound.
Her time is now divided between composing, recording and performances as a soprano soloist at both classical and Celtic concerts.
"Classical with a celtic twist" best describes Jennifer''s musical styel. Her lyrical melody lines soar above the classical orchestral arrangements creating a unique musical combination. Her classical training can be heard influencing the orchestral arrangements while her love of Celtic music can be distinguished within the melodies.
Celtic Dreams is a collection of traditional lullabies woven into Jennifer''s lyrical original compositions creating a soothing soundscape designed to transport the listener to a world of dreams.
