Buck Wylde is a production group headed by 3-time Grammy nominated songwriter, Michael Hester, who was also the producer of this project. Being an avid sports fan and dedicated football lover, Michael was inspired to write “28 is the Man” as a tribute to a young man that he considers to be one of the most dynamic and deserving athletes in the country. With its hard hitting beat, party hooks, and witty rap lyrics, “28 is the Man” is sure to turn any event into a football party! The song features the rap vocal stylings of Mike Cook a.k.a. “Lieutenant” and Jason Weaver a.k.a. “J-120”, two outstanding artists who, in addition to their work on this project, are both currently working on soon-to-be released solo album projects. The funky guitar licks were masterfully played by Matt (“Rev”) Seward, which helped to breathe life into the song.
