Hello!
If you''re here for the first time and are looking for good music, then welcome! I''m glad you''re here. My name is Jimmy Harris. I go by Jimmy T. Harris on stage because there are about ten dozen Jimmy Harris''s in the area where I live. Some even play music. Once one of them even got mailed my paycheck from a gig, but that''s another story!
This record, Seven Shades of Blue, was the result of a whole lot of living. I put my whole heart into it. It goes way against the grain of today''s musical trend. It is mostly acoustic instruments, and is not "synced" to a drum machine or computer. The tracks are real recordings played by real musicians, and there wasn''t a whole boatload of post-production to "perfect" things. It''s good songs played and sung well. Period.
I tried not to put a bad tune on this CD. That (and the title) is why there are only seven on it. But I tried to make every song stand up. And I think I succeeded. If you buy it and don''t like it, email me and I''ll refund you. So go ahead and take a chance for $9.99. You could spend that in a drive-thru, and it''d be gone in ten minutes. Music lasts a lifetime. And you can take solace in the fact that you''re supporting an independent artist, rather than helping pay for Britney''s limo ;)
Well, that''s about all I have to say. Here are some track notes for those who like to read that kind of stuff, and to give thanks to the wonderful folks that helped me on this record.
