"My goal is to prove that the electric and acoustic VIOLIN can fit in and add to rock, metal, hip hop, alternative, and blues, as well as the more traditional styles of folk, country, jazz and classical. Throw something at me. Ill show you what I mean! " -TL.........
Trevor Lloyd began the violin at age nine. When he was 18 he received a scholarship to study under former Concertmaster of the NBC Symphony, Manuel Compinsky. After ten years of classical training he branched off into many different musical genres including folk, country, R &B, jazz and rock. He was a founding member of progressive rock groups Underwater Traffic and Audiosyncrocy and, more recently, alt rock groups Orange Skyblue and Innertune. He is a writer/composer of jazz and rock as well as of classical pieces one of which was performed in 2003 by the San Fernando Valley Symphony. His album credits include Underwater Traffic''s "Return to the Deep", Audiosynchrocy''s "Audiosynchrocy", Clearlight''s "Infinite Symphony", Nick Ashron and Trevor Lloyd''s "Twilight World" and Elfin Spiral''s "Pleidean Love Dance". He recently toured Las Vegas and Nashville with country band Boomer McLennan and the Rhythm Rangers and has just released his new solo jazz rock CD entitled “Violin Tendencies”.
