The Untouchables were one of the first West Coast ska bands, mixing original material along with R & B covers, creating a unique blend of ska and reggae rhythms. The UTs debuted on England´s Stiff Records (MCA Records-U.S.) in 1985 with the release of the Wild Child LP and the three attendant singles: Free Yourself, (I Spy For The) FBI and What´s Gone Wrong. A multi-racial band from California, the Untouchables took their cue from the late 1970´s British ska revival and in particular the stylings of the 2-Tone label, most notably the Specials and the Selecter. The group was a major influence for acts such as: No Doubt, Rancid and Offspring.
Josh Harris was the keyboard player and vocalist with the group. He wrote nearly half of the groups original material including the international hit: What´s Gone Wrong. After a brief hiatus, Josh returns to the forefront with his new CD, displaying the types of music that left an impression heard around the world.
